Making vessels allows me to step away from my sculptural work and engage in a dialogue with clay, constantly learning from the complexities of the ceramic world.
As I shift between the roles of artisan and artist, I experience both the freedom and the constraints each discipline brings—each one informing, challenging, and questioning the other.
